  • We have the most beautiful evenings in Oudtshoorn and our verandah offers the perfect setting for romantic candlelight dinners beneath the stars! Intimate dinners for small groups can be served in the dining room.
  • Dinner and breakfast are served on the verandah of the 
main house which can easily be converted into a closed room when needed.
  • Dinners are charged at an additional R180 per person for a full three-course meal. Our speciality includes ostrich steaks, but our menu offers a variety of delicious meals. Our dinners are always three courses. The courses offer various choices allowing a good variety of typical cuisine during your stay.
  • When guests have longer stays with us and become part of the family, the kitchen often bustles with people exchanging ideas, tips and enjoying sneak tastings.

 We have had guests baking us the most wonderful breads and dishes and in exchange learning things from us. This, of course, is only possible when the lodge is not fully occupied and we can give you all our attention.
